Buying Tripod, Velbon or SLIK?

Ok. I would like to buy a tripod, i have 2 option, Velbon Sherpa 750R & SLIK Pro 700 DX. Its good for my wallet

Which one is better of the two? Basicly what do you think should i consider b4 buying a tripod?

I'm still using a Slik that I purchased forty years ago!

i think you should consider getting a ball head instead of a pan tilt, and when buying a tripod it makes more sense to spend more money and get a tripod that will last you for years then something cheaper than your gonna end up buying again.
i had this same problem a few months back and i landed on a SLIK 714CF2. and a SBH280 ball head. it's amazing never had any problems with it, so all good things for SLIK

I heard that Ball Head's tripod is difficult to control for panorama shot.. Is that right? Since i would like to shot landscape a lot...
