Buying used on Ebay (Olympus G620)

Many thanks for the help on my pondering an SLR...

I'm looking at bidding on the Olympus G620 kit after reading some reviews, and looking at its features. The one I'm looking at comes with three lenses.

I can get a new one for around $1150 or a nice used package for $800 currently being bid (probably will end up around $900 or so).

The seller has good reviews, and claims he's just selling it to get a new Nikon lens. Anyone buy used on Ebay? This is what I'm leaning towards.

That said, I used to buy cars on ebay and I bought a few small things without a problem. It is mostly a question of doing your homework, checking out the seller and the object of the sale. It seems to me you have done that.

Just remember that it is an auction and people often pay too much when they get the fever. Good luck with the bidding.
