Hi everyone I have been shooting a nikon d40 for a couple months now just wanted to see how I am doing any input would be appreciated

Perhaps when posting several images, you could number them for ease of discussion, and put a bit of space between to make it easier to view each individually?

I really like the texture and lighting on the image of the door.

Have you posted the lock before, maybe at the shallow depth of field thread? I could swear I've seen that exact image before! Really, that one. Not joking.

And lastly, I don't think the knob is quite as in focus as what you were intending.

Over all, excellent ideas.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of your photos.

Thanks I have now numbered them I will make sure I remember that for next time it makes it a lot easier.

I did post the lock in the shallow depth of field thread awhile back thats why it looks familiar.

The lens I shot the knob with was a 50mm nikon with a adapter it give the smallest focal range I could blink and it would move the camera enough to lose focus lol.
