EOS 40D with nifty fifty
f/5.6, ISO500, 1/40th sec

Please comment on both good and bad. I know 1/40th is perhaps too slow to pan with, but the cars are going so slow! And I guess that if I can pan decent on this shutter speed, anything faster will be easier. Just practising

And I LOLed when that little moped came past and I got a pretty decent shot of it! :lmao:

And yes, the sky is blown. I didn't care, just practising panning. And I couldn't cross the road, not allowed to stand there.

As far as the panning goes, I think these shots are well done. Looks like you've got the formula pretty much down.

I think number 4 is actually the best lol. There all pretty close in terms of rating I guess you could say. Number one would be my favorite except its somewhat underexposed.

Looks like you have got the panning part down, great stuff man!

Try to find a better background man where the trees are closer so you can see motion blur. Motion blur from far object or sky isn't very good. It looks like you got the technique down.
