C&C B/W conversion please

I'm still learning black and white conversion. Any comments or suggestions would be much appreciated.

on the general picture...
the main focal point is not in focus...The camera lens seems to be the focal area of the picture but it is blurry so that bugs me.
I would really like to see the face....to many shots of ppl hiding behind their camera.
cant really comment on the conversion because im too bugged by the other stuff to really care? I mean if i could see the face, it looks like the skin tones would be pretty good...but again, just dont like pictures of cameras.

The focal point is actually the word "Canon." I'm not sure why I chose that as the focal point, just kind of seemed to be in the middle of the lens, and her face....
