Bazooka - I agree about it being pretty weak without the editing. What could I have done differently with the lens I have 18-55 kit lens and I was right up to the fence. A different angle maybe?

Well, the photo isn't there for me to look at again so it's tough to say. I would like to see the image with processing to match how you remember the scene before I could comment on what I think you could do to improve.
