I stumbled onto this amazing forum a couple days ago and just had to join! I'm an experienced amateur photographer, and I would love your opinion on these shots.

Welcome! There's certainly some good stuff in there - too many to comment on in detail. If you want detailed comments, post one or two.

Welcome. I really like the last 4 in the series. I like the framing of the kitty but you cut a bit of his ear off. Love the effect in the second to last shot and catching the frog both above and below the water was cool. Was the moon actually that color in your second shot? I ask because I am having trouble in this area.

Forgot to mention that it is usually helpful to number your shots, especially if there are more than a few, for easy reference.

That web shot is freaking awesome, in my humble opinion!!!

Thank you all so much for your comments!

I hadn't thought of numbering them, I'll edit my post and fix that. Your moon question: I took this last fall, but I'm pretty sure it was that yellow. Here's what I had it set on:
Shutter 1/200
Aperture f/4.5
ISO 64
white balance: auto.

What do your photos look like when you try shoot the moon? Are you using the Kodak, or your DSLR? It took me almost three years of trying off and on to finally figure out how get a shot that was more that an overexposed white blob.  Speaking of Kodaks, we have practically the same camera! Mine's just a little smaller, 7.1 megapixels.

I was using the D7000, My images tend too look normal on camera but they look bright orange in my editing software, and if I edit the thing to look right it looks bright blue everywhere else. The software is just screwy. :D
I love my Kodak and I has given me great shots for many years. I still intend to use it whenever and wherever I can't use the D7000.

That's weird that the software would change the tint of the photos... Not sure how you would fix that.

Really like #5 and 6, and I have to say that for the camera you are using your photos are sharper and better exposed than a lot of people with expensive DSLR's.
