CS4 processing...just a slight crop because my elbow was in the bottom of the image and a cooling filter.

DXO crazy distortion control

Slight Distortion control with tree lightened in CS4 **the one i like most**

I cant put my finger on it....but something isnt right about this.
I feel its either the path kind of leads to the back of the image but the tree is the main subject...yet the tree is kind of dark. Maybe thats it? What do you think?

I like it. The colors are great. I think it would be cool to see a crop on the path itself too.

Nah, like take a shop or crop it tightly to the path. It looks like a cool "vanishing point" type shot.

I like the second picture. But I'm a sucker for nice panorama shots. For me, the subject is not only the tree at the center but the entire left side which includes the path. I'm looking at the left side of the picture and wondering if that path goes to the tree or goes off into the distance.

try hue adjustments to the independent cyan & blue channels: each +10. gives a more natural look to the unfiltered sky colors.

the second shot is actually the original image shot at 10.5mm. With DXO Optics program i have a way to un-distort it and it stretches it almost as if it were a panoramic shot.
