Agree its way to under exposed.

Turn her around to face the light a bit.

Cutting off her left hand is a general nono in critiques.

Just standing there, flat to the camera and with her left arm hanging straight down makes for a very uninteresting center.
IMO, color is way, way off.
This is a place where a color balance card or device is critical.

In my humble opinion, you mostly need some fill light to your shadows.
Try this little hack next time. Hack Your Reflector By Cutting a Hole in the Middle

I have a feeling the photographer intended it to look this way. The girl has that Gothic look, dress and makeup wise. Unfortunately, even a 1/4 power from the on-board flash could have added to the interest/dark theme.
