Then print your manual. Most likely it's a .pdf.

In all honesty, I haven't even opened the disk bc before joining the forum a week ago, I didn't know cameras had so many functions and options. I thought it was all about the photographer and their creativity. All of this is very new to me. I am truly learning a lot.

There is so much to learn, I think I was focusing so much on learning the terminology that I didn't realize I needed to explore my camera outside of the zoom function. :-)

Well, the stuff mentioned in this post such as aperture doesn't apply to you, yet! ;) But it never hurts to learn new things!

Ok, that's good to know, now I won't feel like a complete idiot tomorrow when I pop my disk in and it doesn't mention aperture. Should I not request c&c anymore until I upgrade? I would still like to get good with my present camera. I figure if I can create great pics with it then I can do amazing things with a big boy camera. Or is that completely insane?

No, totally post your pics for C&C regardless of what camera you have. Some people have posted with camera phone shots even. There are still lots of things to learn with a P&S.

So then yes, you are correct in asking questions about your photos regarding comp and PP options. :D
