C&C on B&W conversion

I think I'm leaning towards the color on the shot. For me any way, there needs to be a reason for shooting in B&W. In this photo, I think the colors actually work for you. Don't get turned off by the snide gun comments. It's a diverse group. I personally enjoy popping cans down range with my M&P 15, others don't understand it. It's society. With that I'll leave it alone. Nice photo BTW. Your shooting buddy should frame it.

Thanks! Like I said originally, I was checking my settings when I shot this so it wasn't necessarily an intended shot. I just thought it would look "badass" as a black and white. I'll probably send him the color one also.

Maybe "weird" wasnt the best choice of words. The background is sort of unflattering, BUT, i do like your conversion very much as it shows the different tones nicely. The AR is a nice platform, i have a M&P Sport. What new handgun did u get??

This was our view all the way around. We were in a cow pasture on a friends property, just a big open field. I was thinking maybe I could tone down the background somehow to make him stand out more and have the background be less noticeable. I'll have to mess with it a bit more.
