C&C on Lighting

What do you guys think about the lighting on these two pics. C&C also welcome on other aspects.

First one seems underexposed a bit to me and the focus on her face is soft.

I find the second one interesting to look at. I like the exposure there.

First one the lighting is very flat. It seems to be extremely overcast day. Second has some dimension to me at least.

Number two is fantastic, great abstract composition

really like the glass one. Definitely looks like a cloudy day in the first photo, don't really know what you could have done differently. Definitely could improve in PP if you wanted.
