C&C on self-portrait

I posted this in the "artsy self-portrait" thread or whatever it's called but actually wanted feedback on it. Mainly the lighting since I'm new to it. Anyways let me know what you think!

The lighting is great (maybe a bit bright) but it looks to be out of focus.

Yeah my face does seem a bit out of focus, probably because of the self timer being lame. Thanks for the input!

Blurry and I'm not sure what is "artsy" about you standing there with your arms crossed.

I'm not sure what is artsy about 95% of the pictures posted in that thread, but they are still there.
