C&C on some Portriats

the angle is too ordinary for a super wide angle lens. I would have used the 50mm.

#1: Colors are nice...but nothing about this shot makes me go "Wow!"

#2: I think this has the best potential to be a nice portrait but it seems underexposed to me. Try playing with the curve to brighten it.

#3: Way to much dead space...and the subjects are lost in everything else.

Did you try shooting with the 50mm?

i took a couple with the 50mm but i wasn't really liking how they turned out, thanks for the input.

Use supplimental and/or fill light to separate your subjects from the background and make them 'pop'.

Be sure and use the vertical format when called for, like #3.

Get closer.

Despite the 'technical' problems pointed out above, I'm sure the girls liked the shots. I like what you were trying to do with 3 and the clouds in the background - it almost works, but vertical would have been better, maybe tighter crop. If you go back to pp and bring out the bright colors of their shirts it would help separate them from the background.

Nice looking group of friends you have there!

I like them all.
It looks like they were having fun, and it will be a day they will all remember.

thanks guys! ill try and re edit these with your comments in mind
