C&C Please - From the window

So I decided to take a challenge, I had to take a shot of something usual. So I thought of what I see everyday and this idea came to me; The view from my window! I see it every morning, every evening. So here' s the shot, please tell me what you think of it

The shot has nice tones and dimension in the sky. but the scene has no appeal to me. May be try to photograph your cup of coffee in the morning, that would appeal to a lot of people and still be something usual! or as I see you are in Paris, may be a baguette with cheese or the store you visit everyday.... just suggestions!

I've done a number of "the view from my window" shots over the past 30 years. They tend to become more interesting when done over time, and with different seasons, and different "moods" shown. Like that shot shows the street lamp on, early in the evening...later, a timed exposure done at night might be nice...a rainy day shot in mid-winter would be good....a bright, blue-sky shot would add another dimension. This one, single shot is okay, but it looks artificially darkened at the top of the frame, almost like a bad Cokin filter effect. I would say KEEP SHOOTING these! Connect one or two or ten or fifteen of them, and it might very well turn into something of interest.

Derrel: You' re right! I didn' t see that bad darkening at the top, I' ll fix this tomorrow Also, thank you for this "from my window" set idea, it might get really interisting!
