My 2bit, newbie suggestion would be to try to take more interesting photos. I usually look at my photos and ask myself, if printed and placed into a photo album, would I look at them again another day or would I skip the page?

I'm not crazy about number 1, but 2 and 3 are pretty interesting abstract photos. It looks like it's probably ice? The third one is especially interesting because there are more colors and more confusion, which actually draw my eyes into things.

Number two is okay, but weak. Perhaps the contrast is too low, or it's slightly too dark.

Either way, I like the abstract look and I think this is a pretty good start.

IMO. i think #1 has a really nice feel to it. i like the background in it too. i would pick #2 over #3.

thanks for the replies. 2 and 3 is a leaf in ice. i have done no editing to any of these pics.i guess 2 and 3 would have been better with a good background and some lighting.
