Very nicely captured; about the only thing I can see that might improve it would be to have a few more images on either side stitched into a panorama.

To me, it seems underexposed overall. I like the composition and such, but it is underexposed.

@DiskoJoe focal length is 12 mm (Tokina 12-24, Nikon D90) I know that full frame camera is better, but....

Great shot. I agree with the exposure being a little low. Also, a wider lens would capture more of the energy of the water and the sky. I think this would be one of those times the full frame sensor is just going to win no matter what. Just hard to get those wide shots on the crop sensor.
