I understand what he was going for with his choice of color but, artful or not, they just don't do it for me. Number one is too dark and has so many different elements that it seems busy. Number two has such a heavy vignette. The call for attention to he guitars seems fabricated, forced.

What you happen to like or not like is COMPLETELY different from whether or not someone has effectively rendered an artistic interpretation or not.

Is he trying to evoke the feeling that someone died by blunt force guitar trauma? Because guess what media has green lighting? Horror movies.

The color wasn't done with intent, or at least it's not expressed in the work, so no, it was not artfully done. Sorry

PLEASE take 10 seconds to see through the stupid mechanical goggles you all have glued to your face and see what the choices in WB and other such things do to the overall effect of the image.
