C&C - recycling plant

taking some advice from here, i went downtown and took a few rolls. I am working on getting a feel for my camera (pentax 35mm) in terms of composition and contrast.

this is obviously a very busy photo with a lot going on in it. how would you guys go about finding a focal point for a similar shot?
