C&C: shot with my new lens

Hey Guys, I just purchased a Opteka 80mm lens and I’ve been playing around with it. I wanted your opinion to see what you all thought about this picture (I did try fixing the picture since the lighting was a little harsh)?

It looks a bit flat to me, like you went a bit far in reducing the contrast. The histograms shows there's no blacks nor whites.

What's an Opteka 80mm lens ... is that a "filter" teleconverter ?

No faces, so no human interest.

It's a medium telephoto portrait lens. I found it on amazon for $100.
