Can anyone recommend a package for color checking? I found this one at amazon, for an i1

has anyone had any experience w this kit? Or maybe suggestions for another direction?

The colorchecker passport is widely used for color accuracy. If you don't already have any calibration hardware then getting the kit is definitely a good idea.

Second the recommendation. X-rite produces (IMO) the best colour-accuracy tools in the trade.
