Edit- I added a color version of the California Nebula that is representative of the typical color pallet used with Hubble images. It assigns red and blue to the hydrogen and oxygen color channels.

I had a nice clear night on 10/28 into 10/29. I set up to image two targets. The first is the California Nebula and the second is the Rosette Nebula. Gear for both was the same.

Hardware:
-Redcat 51 telescope, 250mm FL, f/5.6
-ZWO ASI2600mc Pro camera
-Celestro AVX mount
-ZWO Mini Guide Scope w/ Orion Starshoot autoguide camera
-Optolong L-Extreme narrowband filter
-MeLE Quieter 3Q Mini PC to run everything

Software:
-Sequence Generator Pro for acquisition
-Pixinsight for processing
-Touch-ups in Photoshop

California Nebula
-43 x 300sec subexposures, Gain 100
-3.5hrs total integration time

Rosette Nebula
-33 x 300sec subexposures, Gain 100
-2.75hrs total integration

Just great! Looking forward to more like these.

I don't really know what I am looking at but you have done very well to get these shots....

Wonderful images!

These are astonishing! How amazing to get such great results from your own back yard (or wherever you shot from in the good weather conditions).

I love the addition of the color. Yay!

Nice shots.

Thanks! There are tons of nebulae and galaxies visible in the night sky. You can actually capture some of them with just a camera and a tripod. The scale of many of these objects is mind boggling.
Wonderful images!
Thank you!

Thank you! They were indeed from my back yard, and on the outskirts of our second largest city, which shows what can be captured even from rather light polluted skies. Using certain filters really helps block man-made light and only let through the wavelengths of light associated with these astronomical objects.
Nice shots.
Thanks!

Well, that really is an amazing bit of photography, IMO.

Hard to pick a favorite, but I nominated the Rosette Nebula (the one with stars removed) for POTM!
