Hi,

I have an 18" laptop but with no borders, so it is smaller than most of 17,3" laptops.

I'm looking after a backpack for my camera gear and having a compartment for my laptop.

I found Manfrotto could supply such backpacks, but prices are high.

Do you know another brand that could fit my need ?

thank you

Its best to look out for reviews for camera bags that can carry that laptop

First, do NOT buy a backpack unless you try it on. If you're carrying a laptop and camera gear then you need something that rides well.

Second, my suggestion is to buy a daypack that works for you and fits your laptop and then get an insert to hold your camera body and 2 lenses. That has the advantage of not having a camera gear logo on the bag that sends a message to potential thieves: "expensive camera gear inside!!!!"

Third, if all you're talking about is a laptop, a body and 1-2 lenses and then a few incidentals, look at a messenger bag with a good shoulder strap. That will give you better access to your camera gear when walking/hiking.

Fourth, KEH sells used gear. So if you don't want to buy a cheap bag/backpack but don't want to pay $300, check their stuff out.
