Camera Problem

I have 4MP camera of canon, i tried so many times to configure the properties but everytime i get picture results so poor and on comparison my picture from mobile camera of 2MP is far good than canon 4MP camera. What is the reason. please suggest

A camera like that wouldn't give much user-control.. Not saying that you camera is bad, just saying that switching up the settings might not help much.

Could it be your White Balance (may be called exposure +/-)? ISO? Are you using the 'Zoom' feature (zooming in will give blurry photos)? Check off those and three things and you may more likely then not find you answer.

Short of all that, do you think your camera could be defective?
