hello all!

i need some camera recommendations! i am looking for an intro to intermediate level dslr. i am mainly going to be using this camera for product shooting, so any recommendations on certain lenses would be appreciated as well!

Any DSLR will work fine for product photography. Your lenses and other equipment (light box, lighting, etc) are what's really going to matter.

I'd immediately recommend you a D90, but then again I'm biased. Just happens to be one of the "best bang for the buck" bodies out there in the beginner/intermediate levels.

Whether you choose Nikon or Canon doesn't really matter.. they're both good brands.

Canon 1Ds or a Nikon D3x.

are you serious? He said he was a newbie, i don't think he needs to spend that much money.

Try a Nikon D700 or Canon 5D (both around $2500)

or if those are out of your budget try the Nikon D300 or Canon 60D (both around $1,000 to $1,500)

Good luck bro!
