I use OPTech nect straps on mine. First up they have a wide rubbery band to give a more comfortable neck brace than regular straps supplied with cameras. Secondly the strap has 2 clips which let you unclip the main length of the strap from the camera, leaving behind two tabs which are on short lengths which can have their respective clips put together so that they don't dangle annoyingly.

Like this you can have the strap on or off in a second - great for shifting from days where you've got the camera in your hands to those where its on a tripod.

I've also read that some (Eg BigMike) like to add a second main strap body so that they've an extra long strap which they can then dangle over their shoulder.

Both of my cameras have Domke Gripper straps on them. As with those Overread uses these have sectiona about 4" long that connect to the camera and they have spring-loaded clips on the end. When I use a longer lens I usually use a Skooba Designs Superbungee strap and I put rings on the end of that so I can just hook them on the Domke clips. When I use a REALLY big lens I use a Blackrapid R7. With that strap I hook the Domke clips onto the Blackrapid clip, ostensibly for a secondary safety sort of thing although it's primarily just to get them out of the way.
