Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Hi I have been photographing product on a seamless background lately and I am noticing when I shoot the image it is bright and white on my LED but when I bring them into lightroom they are really warm. It's easily fixed in post but I prefer not to have to worry about it. Anyone have any tips or ideas why this is happening?

Thanks in advance for any help given.

1. The LCD on the back of the camera Lies. It is showing a processed .jpg.
2. Is you monitor hardware calibrated? If not then you are shooting in the dark as to what the correct colors are that have been recorded. Just because it looks good to you doesn't mean that the monitor is right.
3. Are you shooting .jpg or RAW. It can and often does make a difference.

The LCD on the rear of the camera cannot be used to evaluate exposure, or color by looking at the photo.
Looking at the photo you can verify composition and by zooming ointo the photo you can check focus.

To evaluate exposure and color you have to look at the image histogram, but as mentioned above you cannot access a Raw file on the rear LCD, only a JPEG Basic made from the Raw file that is embedded in the Raw file so there is something that can be shown on the rear LCD.
