I have a Pentax ZX-M. It has auto advance. I understand that I can keep the shutter open as long as I want with the "B" setting, but how can I trip the shutter without having the film advance so I can trip it again for a multiple exposure? Or can't I?

This is not covered in the manual, and I don't see anything about it here:

Thanks,

I'm not sure about this model, but I have an old Pentax Super ME and I'm not sure if it was covered in the manual, but on mine, I have a button on the bottom of the body. After pushing this it allows you to re-cock the shutter w/o advancing the film. Again, not sure if you have the same or not on yours.
Hope that helps.

I don't believe the Pentax ZX-M normally allows for double exposures.
