can you cook anything interesting in a microwave?

Sorry Ferny but i must say that i do a mean baked potato (aka spud) in the microwave too. Not for baked dinners but when you want them with a filling. I leave the skin on, pierce them with one or two holes, lightly wipe with olive oil and nuke 'em for about 20 minutes! Cut open, add butter, grated cheese, some crushed CC's and whatever else tickles your fancy and top with maybe some taco sauce or something similar Mmmmm

What's a CC?

Don't you find that the texture and taste is different? I always find there is a BIG difference between an oven and a microwave baked potato.

Boring update. 7k people still without gas, I'm one of them. Could be like this until Sunday. I was going to cook a Bolognese last night as well. And I really fancy making myself a very hot bean curry.
