Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I need a good reflector which once folded will fit into my Billingham Hadley Small bag. (Internal Dimensions: Width 260mm, Depth 70mm, Height 185mm) in the Document compartment behind the main SLR compartment. I will also have my D700 in there with a lens and then some small stuff.

I don't know anything about reflectors as I have worked without them for quite a while but I do know some studio light basics even though that doesn't really help (Let's say that I know what kind of shadows to avoid and which ones look good).

Anyway, beauty and fashion photography is a huge passion of mine and I am going to Photography school next September.

I'd really appreciate reflector advice, recommendations and instructions as I shoot outdoors 100% of the time. Thanks!

I recommend the Lastolite TriGrip. The medium size is good for up to 3/4 shots and the large for full body. Go to Lastolite dot com and look at their School of Photography videos. Very useful info found there, not just their products.

If you're doing a lot of outdoor shoots, I'd also recommend for you to get at least two. The reason being that one could be used as a difusser and the other as the reflector. The TriGrip can be hand held while shooting with the other hand. You would also need either a second pair of hands or a stand, clamp and counter-weight for the second reflector/difusser.

Thanks! Well, I shoot in real crazy locations, I had my model on top of a cliff the other day while I was getting wet in the river! That's why I need to be able to transport stuff easily. What kind of sizes fit into my bag? I mainly shoot 85mm so mainly head and shoulder shots but I do the occasional full body shot too.

I left mine in my studio (room above my partner's garage ) but at a guess it folds down to ~45mm in diameter and ~25mm thick for the medium size that I have. It folds out to 75cm.

45mm by 25mm? Really?

You must be as drunk as I feel like getting.

Not then, but I am now! I musta hit the wrong buttons for the conversion. It's still only abount an inch thick (25mm) but it more likely 600mm in diameter. Opps.

It seems that my best option is to order one per mail, for the matter of size, I am still a bit confused, what is the biggest size I can carry in my little bag you think?

Get a carabina and hang it off your bag, the bigger the reflector the better
