Wow thanks for all replies peeps!
If I'm honest the 2 reasons I'm swaying more for the L is for the IS and the weather sealed as I'm always out with my gear
I will however always be using this lens on a monopod so would I really miss the IS :-/
Anyway I can get the L version for £569 & the non L for £359 just over £200 difference for the added L features mmmmmmmm lol
Think I'll save the extra £200 and for the L want to use for portrait aswell
