canon 400mm mkl?

I saw this lens on ebay and I am thinking about getting it. It doesn't say anthing about being a usm. Though it does say mkl. I was wondering if this was the motor or if he just expects this to be known.

My question is: What does mkl mean?

Mk I means the first version of the lens. It is USM.
