i'm about to start my journey of dslr photography i know in another post, i said that i'm about to get a canon 40D, but this decision is haunts me a bit. i've calculated the costs, and they're relatively the same. it's either a canon 40D w/ a sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 or a nikon d90 w/ a kit lens is it sound to start with the d90, feel my way around, then choose and save better lenses from there. or acquire a canon 40D with a 2.8 maximum aperture standard zoom lens. also: i'm a bit worried that if i get the 40D with the third party lens, i might regret it because i could've gone with the nikon d90 and a first party lens, though be it a kit lens. is that worry a legitimate concern? or not really.. thanks!
