What is the size difference between them?

I have shot with a 50d before and not really noticed it being uncomfortable or awkwardly huge.

Is the 60d smaller?? That seems a little backwards to me... I was hoping to hold one in hand before making a decision on which one to buy, but none of my local stores have a 60d in stock that I can hold :(

Anyone wanna ship me theirs so I can hold it, feel it, and send it back? lol

thanks :) I know how to google :)

I was asking because I'd actually like a more personal opinion from people and not a website... So I was hoping that maybe someone who OWNS a 50d might comment and give their opinion, and someone with a 60d might do the same :)

Go to your local camera store and find out for yourself.

If you bothered to look at the link, you would see that the 60D is 10% wider and 10% heavier with nearly the same length and height.

They are going to feel bigger than a rebel, but neither one will feel HUGE, unless you have little hands, or leprosy.

It seems from the link posted that they're barely any different in size...

I have a 60D, I like the size, if you wanted it to be bigger you could always get a grip for it?

Oh snap! I picture JeffieLove taking out her earrings like shes ready to throw down. Catfight!

Well you should learn how to ask a question then. You asked if it was smaller. Not for personal experience

Okay, if you want to get cocky, I can too :)

I called all of my local camera stores and none of them have it in stock :) Thanks!

Oh, and I did look at the link. I read the link and I apologize for not specifying that I wanted personal opinions. But sometimes, the reason for asking REAL people a question is to get THEIR opinions... I don't feel like that is something needed to be stated.

Thank you for being such a cocky *****. Have a nice day :)

Yeah, you aren't a real photog until you have a grip.

I know you're joking ;) LOL

I do have a grip on my XSi and I REALLY love it... More for the shutter release button when I am holding the camera in portrait orientation, but I kinda do like the added weight too ;) lol

But, I also know that it is possible to become a professional without a grip ;) Not that I'm a pro (or even close to ready yet lol)

No need for name calling! I was simply pointing out the fact that they were very similar in size; if you've held one, you've held the other.

And I'm not sure what you expect to get from personal opinions. Everyone is different, what feels right to someone, may not for another. You have to get your own personal experience and decide for yourself.
