canon 50mm??

i think money will end up dictating this one for me, my car has just broke down and is going to cost £300+ to repair

I have the 24-70 L 2.8 and the 50 mm 1.8.. I love LOVE LOVE the 1.8. I am happy that I didn't spend the extra $$ for the 1.4. Something to think about - very small lens, easy to drop. Would you rather drop a $70 lens or a $350 lens? I have not used the 1.4, and I LOVE bokeh, and I absolutely adore this lens..
