Canon Flash

Depending on whether I get a certain lens for my birthday or not I plan on purchasing a good flash. I honestly know nothing about flashes and have no idea of what to look for.

I will be using the flash during indoor sports in a gymnasium as well as outdoors sports on large fields. I will also be using it as a fill flash.

I dont know much about the Canon Elan 7ne but a Speedlite Flash is the way to go, it will set you back about £150 - £300 but is well worth every penny!

1) What's your budget?
2) Do you like the idea of manual flashes?

As far as price go I prob. don't want to go over $200-$300 for my first flashs. And I really don't know how you would work a manual flash as opposed to a automatic. I will use it 80% for sports shots.
