I have just ordered my husband (a commercial diver) a G12 and underwater housing - upgrading from a sony cybershot. All his vessel survey pictures are done in very poor water visibility which the sony does not handle very well. This camera was recommended to me by a diving supply company. He has had a sea&sea as well but also the same as the sony when it comes to "dirty water". Lighting is not a problem because he has powerful headlamps but I am still worried that the extra money will not have been well spent and the results will be the same as the cybershot. Any comments (good or bad) will be welcome
