Canon SLR lens giving me grief... please help!

Hi again,

I've taken time off from photography due to other activities and now want to get back to it.

I wich I could take it to a repair shop anywhere around here but haven't had the chance to find one here.

I'm just posting again to see if anyone else has got an idea what could be happening with my lens and if there is a quick fix to it.

This problem doesn't really make too much sense.

1. If your friends 18-55mm lens works perfect on your camera...
2. And your lens works perfect on his...
3. Than why would your lens not work on your body?

If this was a math question, it would be an enigma.

The question is: Is it your body or your lens?

(sorry for not being much help)
