Canon Speedlite Tutorial Help?

[AprilEye]

Can anyone suggest to me a good tutorial web site or publication on how to get started with my new Canon Speedlite 430EX II? Its my first ever off camera flash and the instruction book is good and all, but a tutorial/blog/video in layman's terms would be ideal. Thanks in advance

Did you checkpoint the Strobist blog? Not specific for your flash, but useful for basics.

Flash Photography with Canon EOS Cameras - Part I.

Not specific to the unit, but focused on Canon's system. I'd recomend his book "Mastering Canon EOS Flash Photography" also as it does go into some depth on the units.

Hope this helps.

youtube is full of it. You should subcribe to some of the channels.

The users manual is a good place to start.

If your solid on the "when" and "why" of it, the manual is an excellent source for "how."
