You're right about the focus. I've been using back button focus, but was under the impression that it was better than using the shutter release...no? FWIW I'm normally using a center point and recomposing. Thanks for your input!

Back focusing means that your camera lens combo is focusing behind the spot indicated. Your images in the other thread are perfectly sharp so something must be different.
