Can't take the heat? Get outta the street!

Recent structure fire of an unoccupied, vacant structure. The fire dept took defensive techniques to protect other exposures. A partial collapse restricted further interior attack.

The second is, I was fighting that in post. But I like it nonetheless. I didn't notice it in the other two. Perhaps if you open them in flickr? Your eye may also be better than mine.

The top was taken with a kit 18-55 and the bottom two were taken with a kit 55-200.

The last one is a little too contrasty for me. But not bad. (The shadows around the firemen is what I noticed)

I think the first is great. Well composed and thought out.
I would try uprighting the third one so the building wall isn't on a slight slant. It calls attention and is distracting to me.

The heat coming from the fire my be effecting the focus in the 3rd one. The focus seems to be on the engine in the background. The second one would be better if the Chief would have turned towards you. Capturing faces in these type of pictures will make them stronger.
