Captive (Or Captivating) Eyes

Captive or captivating? The eyes of a Spectacle Owl behind a wire fence at the Nashville Zoo.

I love the eyes but I think the context of the title would have been better served had I allowed the wire of the fence to be more in focus. I didn't think about it when I shot it; the bird would stare at me for a second and then look away. It was sitting about a foot from the wire and about 10 feet away from me so getting rid of the wire entirely was just not going to happen.

I'm not sure why I'm not seeing a "Resize" bar on top of the photograph. It's 1152 pixels wide so there should be one. If it doesn't work properly the original 1152 pixel image is Here
