Nah, give yourself more credit than that. The background is perfectly suited for a stark color contrast... blue on yellow. You could have easily under or overexposed this shot. Looks like you were zoomed in quite a way so you could have easily gotten motion blur... maybe it was luck that he was there, but it looks to me that this was a thoughtful and skillfully executed shot.
Bazooka , thanks i was maxed out at 200 , luckily he was in front of a lake which served as a perfect back drop . That hole was backed up so i had more than a few minutes to take it all in and figure out what i wanted to do .
