***Car Photography Help***

Hey guys im interested in building a small basic car studio here in New England. I would love to get info on where i can get the equipment and lights. The picture below shows a studio with some type of white flooring and backround, what type of material is that and where can i get it? Im a car sales man here in Boston and the way the enconomy is right now nobody is buying cars:er: so i need to make something happen on the side for me and my family. THANKS

Seemless paper?

You want professional shots? 400watt strobes. Maybe 6 or so. Large white sheets of foam board to bounce with...light meter, radio triggers, assistants...etc...

Nice automotive portfolio done with a Phaseone Digital MF back. There are short descriptions on how the lighting is obtained. Just something that might give you more ideas

I'd give more advice but unfortunately I don't have much in regards to automotive studio.

Pay someone to do it. Seriously; the photographer probably doesn't sell cars on the side, and if you want professional-quality photographs, you're not going to get them just by buying a few thousand dollars worth of gear and trying it as a side-line.
