Car Photos for C&C

Yeah I do agree on the area. When he picked me up we had no idea where to go, so the only think i could think of was the country side. But next shoot we do we'll probable have to make a 45 minute drive to get to the business area.

So hopefully we could some better shots. And also reading that Car photography tutorial , which is an amazing site btw.
I need to get a B+W filter in order to remove the reflections. So eventually i'm going to be purchasing on of those.

Thanks for all your help Lyon ! You've helped me so much

nice pictures, nice car, personally in the first 2 shots i would increase aperture just a bit so that back of the car is in focus with entire car while keeping the blurred background

Well  because that just helped me.

But I found this Tiffen one for $30. Amazon.com: Tiffen 82mm Linear Polarizer: Camera & Photo

Now idk if that compares to your el cheapo polarizer. But maybe you want to fill me in ?

I do completely agree with the aperture. A mistake made, that will definitely be fixed next shoot !

Thanks for the comment

The Tiffen is probably considerably better than the Targus ones that I have.

turn the wheels. you can experiment with different angles but usually you want to see as much of the rim as possible.

Wow the first 2 actually looks like something you would see in a car magazine. Very nice. :)

I have been trying to learn how to photograph cars also. It's fun to look for a location and look for good natural lighting. But I have a looong way to go. It seems there is always something in the reflection or lighting that messes it up.

I hope you can learn as much as I am learning about Car photography in this thread ! Have you checked out the Car photography Tutorial link that ' Lyonsroar ' Sent me ? Check it out its a really good site to give you some tips and ideas !

Btw, (as i just learned) You need to get yourself a nice circular polarizer. in order to kill those reflections. :gun:
