The first one is classic! :)

You took the Ansco Titan out on the lake??? :whip:

The sculpture in the second one cracks me up.

Well, it is one of my cheaper/less valuable cameras, and a dip in the lake isn't likely to hurt it much. Besides, if you fear using your tools, what good are they?

I fear water and ANY camera. :greenpbl: I freely admit it. When we hiked down the Narrows out in Utah and my husband put his Rollei in a wet-bag, I thought he was nuts! I was nervous until we got out of the water.

I've completely soaked several of my old cameras (several hours of rain, not dunked in a lake). When I get home I just disassemble them as much as possible, and let them dry out. Bad weather and risky conditions are often when/where the best shots are. It's just another reason why I prefer the old cameras.

Here is a link to a great story about a guy who dunked his digital camera...

Here's a better gallery of image from the camera

The first one cracks me up. The shirt for me really makes that picture. Great job with both shots Matt!!!

Conan is from Texas, and he sort of hates it. It cracks me up when he wears that T-shirt too. You can tell from the holes that it's one of his favorites.

Awesome stuff!!! And a wild story, to boot. This is probably the best digital stuff I've ever seen where the photographer honestly says, "No photoshopping done, this is straight from the camera."
