I would have liked to see ears too but my first impression was that it was very interesting! I love the color and it is quite serene!!!!!! I really do like the style! IMO (which is not saying much)you couldn't have exposed better.

Different approach - like the first one better - would have been nice to see the ears, but this is still a very different shot and for that reason, I find it kind of neat.

It's an interesting picture, I kind of like it without ears. Think of it as a close up of cats face. Love the cat show

Interesting PoV. Absent of the ears, I would have liked more definition of the whiskers. Next time try stopping down your lens a bit.
