Caught in an Arch...

Been working out near Moab over the last few days. Got a chance to get some shooting in the other morning.

I'm heading there in three weeks...whoohoo and Arches, Bryce and Zion...and maybe even Grand Canyon.

It really is. I found out the other night that I was going to have the first half of the day off, so I planned to get up before sunrise and head into the park. The only problem was I had never been there so I had NO IDEA where to even start, or the best place to be for daybreak. That guy had his spot picked out! I did have fun hiking ground chasing the light for the first hour. I did get a chance to go back in the evening and hit all the places that were backlit in the morning. I still have about 300 photos to go through...

I've always wanted to go to Zion. I've only seen it from the air and it really doesn't look like much.

I got Bryce on the flight up.
