Caught Up Like in Transition

I took these Jpegs and thought it might be time for something like this. A bit familiar to me. All these pictures might depict one thing in particular, so don't be confused. Might as well be a way to cope or something. Watch Yourself.

I see a whole bunch of photos with the theme of transitional areas, boundaries, and lines of demarcation. Sidewalk to lawn. Street to sidewalk. One shop to the next shop in a strip mall, with the two neighboring stores using the same gaudy lights, but in different colors. Yard to yard transitions. Plenty of steel or iron fencing. Walls, dividers. In modern urban America we have the house and yard, sometimes a fence, other times not, but moving from the house and yard, there is the sidewalk, and then the street; not the case in many ancient cities, where the street runs right up to and touches the very outside of the houses...there was housing, and then...the street. ALleyway to street...bus stopping at one street, and moving into the intersection, and area of transition from one block to another. These photos show transitional areas, dozens and dozens of them. I see a lot of poles, and trees, as markers of transitions. It's very obvious that this modern environment has many areas of transition, clearly marked out by the humans that created the environment. Are the photos groundbreaking? Maybe not. But there is an easily constructed idea here: the modern urban/suburban environment has been broken up into many clear boundary, or transition areas, which is different from say, a 100,000 acre forest where things are mostly "the same", and there are not a lot of artificial boundaries that have been created.

I see no clear theme. They just seem like random images a lot of which are out of focus.

Pwahahah, I cracked up, I feel like we're going to make a joke out of that story for a long time.


Anyway, back on topic. In every single of those picture, I don't know what I'm supposed to look at, no clear subject.

Also, You might want to be a little more critique about what is a keeper and what isn't, pictures where the focus has been missed aren't the best thing to show. Those happens to everybody, we just don't show it off.

Why are some picture highly pixelated and low resolution? Did you crop these for a "zoom" effect ? Don't do that, just don't. it reduce drastically the image's quality.

I dont understand what these are supposed to be doing? Half of them are blurry and out of focus.
