#1 is my favorite, becase its pleasing for me to look at.
#2 was more for me to learn about lines/composure.
#3 I tend to shoot 90% of my pictures using positivie space, and I want to break from that, and learn both positive and negative space. So, I went for a negative space approach to it.
I don't think it worked.

Please, let me know how you feel with the pictures, and anything I could have done differently. I just got into this about a year ago, and I love learning about it. Any CC is valued highly.

I personally like #1 the most also, it's a nice shot to look at I like it!. I also like #2 and its simplicity. For me #3 the background is just too distracting to make it work.

I figured I would get that comment on #3. Its crazy that our rose bush is budding already in this cold! (#2).

Thank you on the comment of #1, Im actually really happy that photo turned out the way it did. This old 35-70 F/3.5-4.5 is giving me really nice results.

I really like your first shot, I feel the composition for the third shot should be filled with the berries, then the focus of the image would be the cherries and not the distracting background. Great shots can't wait to see more.

#1 has some definite possibilities, but #2 and #3 have a background that is just to distracting for me.

I completlely understand the background problem. It was more of a test of negative space than anything. I guess ill continue working on it. Ill have more shots up soon, as I've been going on walks/little drives every night now. Im only 17, so I cannot venture TOO far haha.

Thank you! I'll go ahead and try that out when I go for a walk later. Ill be sure to post some more soon!

I think you have a good eye for a 17 year old. I also commend your openness to critique. That is a valuable and often lacking trait of a 17 year old. You seem to be very mature for your age.

I like the compositions on these, but feel that they might be too much on the blue side in terms of white balance. Particularly the first one. Do you have any other edits of the first one?

I look forward to seeing you progress, keep shooting bud!

Thank you very much on the compliment! I've had to work hard for everything I own, so in a way, its inbued a sense of respect and professionalism in me.

Ill get two more edits of the first one on here. Give me about 15 minutes.

The first is a hair warmer than the orginal, with the second one being the warmest I am comfortable going with the picture. As part of it is the ice, and ice is generally cool ;)

I can't see either of these, unfortunately. Wish I could! :(

BTW, I'm not suggesting you get "too warm" with the edits, but instead make the ice appear more white and natural. The leaf also has a blue color cast to it which bothers me in the original.

I agree with the rest of the crowd, #1 is the best, and 2+3 are very busy. I look forward to seeing more of your work, thanks for sharing and keep shooting.

For what it's worth, #2 isn't a rose bud, but a rose hip, or fruit.

My dad always told me rose bud, so I guess I can go correct him on that. Not that often I get that chance.
Thanks for the comments everyone, Sorry for constantly posting new edits of it in here, Im trying to get better on the PP side of things.

Final edit on #1 and #3?
